Suzuki Gixxer And Gixxer 250 Models To Get Connectivity Features As Well

Suzuki is the latest manufacturer to jump onto the connectivity features trend by offering it on its Access 125 and Burgman Street scooters. While it has skipped the system on its bikes for now, the company has stated the same features will make their way onto the Gixxers and Intruder. The timeline isn’t fixed as of now, but we expect an early-2021 update for the bikes.

Suzuki has decided to first offer the tech on its scooters and iron out any possible chinks. Once the system is finely tuned in the scooters, it will immediately be made available on the bikes. Also, an iOS app is being developed, which should be ready in the next couple of months. Suzuki’s market research showed that nearly 90 percent of its customers were Android phone users. Hence, the app is only available for those devices.

These special variants of the Access 125 and Burgman Street with connectivity features are pricier than their regular counterparts by Rs 3,500 to Rs 3,800. You can head here for more details on the connected services the system offers.

Honda is all set to launch its first small-capacity retro motorcycle tomorrow. The recent trademark images suggest that the upcoming motorcycle might be called H’Ness, and cost around Rs 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
